You're right, I did read later that it came from some football fund. But coming from a booster gives the story another layer from which BP will need to crawl from.
Bp has a LOT of crawling to do. I don't think we hear anything from him as far as coaching goes for at least a couple of years. His name is mud in the NFL and now NCAA football as well. Someone will take a flyer on him in a year or so as maybe an O coordinator or one of those created positions like special assistant to the Head Coach or Offensive Coordinator but I really don't think he lands another head job for several years, unless he goes to some small school looking for a big name.
