Bo Wallace - quotes by EMCC coach, "I think his mind is made up"

  • FWBear said...

deltadog, give it a rest. Aggies and Horns will never get it. As far as they are concerned, they are both contenders for the national title every year. There is a direct correlation between their confidence and the level of sales of their fan gear at gas stations across the State. Sales were great this year. Aggies were seventh in the Big 12 but will challenge for an SEC title next year. Horns, with their "top 5 defense" rocked out at sixth in the Big 12 with all their 4/5 star players getting thumped the past two seasons by Baylor's 2/3 star players (and the Heisman QB not good enough to play QB at UT). That's what top flight coaches can do with big time talent. It will only improve now that Mack's recruiting plan involves little more than following Briles around.

But seriously, based on gas station sales, Baylor is the "doormat" and, with Aggy gone, UT is now a "Persian rug". If UT is #12 in football, #4 in men's basketball, and #1 in women's basketball, then they are the premier athletic program in the nation. If it's anyone else, like, say, a Baylor, then it's not real - it just can't be because . . . look at the gas station sales. That's just how it is here in Texas. The arms race for gas station fan gear rules all. It is an idiocracy where the national color is burnt orange and where the President is Mack Vaccaro Mountain Dew Monroe Acho.

    Such are the unwashed masses.

In other words, some talk, others walk.

    ^
That dilussional aggy syndrome has worked it's way back down closer to gomerville again.

Are you suggesting Baylor walks and Texas just talks? Gas station sales ... are you seriously that stupid?

Look very closely at the picture in my signature... the one on the far left. Tell me what you see.

Exactly. UT is little more than a marketing machine. A facade. See the LHN, which has been a failure of a marketing plan that UT desperately elevated above the health of the conference.

The 2005 team was good, definitely talented enough to make VY look all world with his dolphin fin passing and straight line running. However, I would expect a program that gets 4/5 star recruits to do more in this conference, certainly more than be a doormat the past couple of seasons and a paper tiger most other seasons.

  • Ouch..

@ChipBrownOB Bo Wallace, QB from East Mississippi CC, will not be visiting Texas this weekend. Orangebloods.com has the latest. ... http://bit.ly/A7U8p

  • Looks like Bo's head coach was right after all. I would t be surprised if Wallace starts for Mississippi State this fall. I heard Dan Mullen sold him on the fact he reminded him of Alex Smith who he coached at Utah.

Yancy is like kudzu. You hate it, can't kill it, and is virtually worthless!

Do you see the problem here. I know we are far from being close to the top. This year wilt be maybe the 3rd time in 10 years we have had a top 25 recruiting class. But Texas has had top 5 every year since forever but you have a losing record the year after taking an ass whipping by bama in the national championship. Why is it that y'all can have so many 4 and 5 pulp players on a team and have a losing record. Like i said if state had recruiting classes like that we would play in a bcs bowl every year.

Eeeaaaasy there big boy. Robert Griffin wont be on campus next year so you might want to hold off on the smack talk for, say, another 40 years until Baylor finds another transcendent player to make them relevant again.

Congrats on your season. I was happy to see th Bears do so well. Don't ruin it for me.

  • Let me guess, NOW you guys are going to say that you bever wanted Wallace and you are good at the QB position. LoL

What is comical is that we look at Wallace as filler depth and you look at him as a savior. Just reinforces the fact that your program does not belong in any discussion with Texas football. You should ask for permission to post here. We do not normally respond to trolls from such non relevant football schools. The only tome your school should come up here is when we want to schedule a non conference opponent to curb stomp. Man you make me feel dirty.

Actually Wallace was looked at as depth for MSU as well. I would be shocked if Tyler Russell wasn't starting next year with Dak Prescott getting some snaps. We just need a third QB on the roster

I guess we should ignore the earlier post where you guys said he would come in competing for a starting job? He went from a possible starter to a depth filler after you hear he's not visiting. Hilarious!

    The putz has a point.

I would add K State to the list of inferior talent that beat our ass.

DKR got lazy after his MNC run too.

Trolling is when you come to a board just to stir up trouble. We came over to see what was the deal with Wallace. Instead I read how great Texas is and how sh!tty MSU is. Im a troll because i defend my school? Oh ok... We Only offered Wallace when our second, possibly third string QB transferred. We couldn't go into the season with 2 QBs. Bo may very well win the starting job and I'm okay with that but I just thought it was hilarious to see your fans salivate over him at the beginning of the thread and then start the "we didn't need him anyway" after he doesn't visit. So much for laying out that Persian red carpet, huh? To make matters worse, now you have a poster insinuating we paid his JUCO coach? But I'm the troll? He could very well sign with Baylor or all we know. At least wait til he announces before you throw out baseless rumors for a player you didn't want anyway.

Y'all are a piece of work lol. You bash me downvote me all you want but the fact of the matter is i was right. TEXAS IS NOT RELEVANT ANYMORE. not nationally anyway. Lmao you lost a recruit to little ole Mississippi state. When's the last time that's happened?

Have you looked at UT's current recruiting class which is stacked? Yeah no one wants to play here anymore. idiots everywhere

  • It's like they see Texas have to sub-par years and it's kick the dog while he's down..Nobody on this earth truly believes Texas will be down for long. Ole Miss and Miss State will continue to be doormats of the SEC..and I don't wanna even talk about Baylor...y'all weren't anything before RG3 and u won't be when he leaves. All he did was give y'all a few good years..don't expect it to last when he leaves. Texas is a QB away from being national title contenders again..y'all need more than QB..don't let your hate for the LHN or any other excuse to hate Texas obscure any of you trolls vision of what's really going on..

    Mississippi State...seriously? Mississippi State....good Lord.

  • I think it's pretty obvious that MSU will never be a football powerhouse on the regular because at the end of the day, college football is about finances and MSU is at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to that. Not to mention, we have to share the state of MS, which is one of the lowest D1 player producing states with Ole Miss. We don't have the luxury of being the lone SEC school in out state like LSU or share a talent rich state with another SEC school like Auburn and Alabama. With all that said, the landscape of college football is changing some for one reason or another where the once almighty football powerhouses are now struggling. Look at Tenn, Miami, Michigan, etc... Florida State, Florida, Penn State, USC and Ohio State could very well be headed in that same direction. And yes, add your beloved Texas to that list. Were the last couple years an anomaly for UT or was it a sign of things to come. No one knows for sure. I'm sure most UT fans look at it as half full while your enemies think otherwise but only time will tell. Either way, the best way to come back to UT relevance is to get better play out of your QB. Wallace may have been that answer. Oh, and save the "we didn't offer him" speech. I thought only Ole Miss fans did that.

OK I will honor your wish, here's a downvote. When you and your wife got a divorce was she still your mother? Wait, maw she was your sister. Now go borrow an aggie sheep and leave your cousins alone. Now run along.
