He should... what I wonder is how long Nebraska puts up with his 9-4 & 10-4 records & no conference championships? I would think he'd be on some kind of hot seat!
Had it not been for the later Solich years and the entire Callahan tenure, his seat would have already fried his ass. Nebraska fans had to swallow a huge dose of reality from 2002 through 2007, witnessing a 23-25 conference record in those 6 seasons. Pelini will eventually have to get a conference championship, but 22-10 and two conference championship games (both extremely narrow losses) in four years give him a little insulation for the time being.

Ole penis nose is finally figuring out the briar patch that Tom Osborne has thrown him and the NU progran into. They'll be mediocre for many years to come and Osborne will still be blaming it on Texas. Osborne let his ego get the best of him. Rather than continuing to try to compete with Texas, they took their ball and left, like our little brothers in B/CS.
Nebraska will never be what they were back under Osborne. They can't recruit like they used to since the internet. I mean, who wants to go to Nebraska when they can go somewhere else. Nebraska is full of 2 and 3 star players. They might win occasionally, like Okie St and a & m. Osborne can blame us all he wants, but no coach will consistently win there until they move the entire campus to someplace fun.
