the high school stadium in Alpine is great. lots of stone work on the outside. sorry I don't have a pic.

Lobo Stadium.
Sorry, had to give props to my home stadium. Corsicana has a pretty nice stadium that we've had good luck in. Royce City is supposed to have a real nice one too I think.

If any of you guys can post pics I would love to show some of these guys over here the high school stadiums. Our friend just moved from BFE Louisiana to Cypress Ranch with his family. To say they where shocked at the facilities is an understatement. Every time a family member goes there for the first time to see their new digs, they always include the stadium in the tour.

Nothing better than a football game Friday Night at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene, Texas. Especially for the crosstown rivalry game between Abilene Cooper and Abilene High. Stadium is quite old, but brand new turf, new stadium updates and the largest High School video screen/scoreboard and you understand what I am talking about.

I fully expect to be alone out on a limb on this, but...
I always loved Mercer Stadium in Sugar Land. The Coppell stadium is similar with one side of the stadium built into a hill.
Nothing too special, just a great, classic high school football stadium.

I am partial to the one in San Angelo...Built below ground level and raised up on the sides into the ground and above...Horeshoe configuration....To me, it's still one of the best ones around...

Midland Grande Stadium is really nice. Abilene Wylie is great too. Allen's may be incomparable tho.

For the experience, nothing beats Ratliff Stadium in Odessa. When the crowd got into their MOJO chant on a Friday night, that's Texas Highschool football.

San Angelo stadium maintains the test as modern after all these years and also being split level makes it cool, unique and loud. Besides that, it's home to west Texas football.
I must say that House Park in Austin is a really cool atmosphere with the Capitol in the background.

My son's team plays at "The Palace" in Round Rock, but it can't hold a candle to the Berry Center. The "Tomato Bowl" is awesome though I've only driven by. Neat place. House Park is also very cool.

While it doesn't hold a candle to any of the stadium's north of here, I am impartial to what I believe is the best stadium in the Rio Grande Valley....San Benito's Bobby Morrow Stadium.

Good old fashioned football at the Puncher Dome in Mason.
Lake Travis has a sweet setup too with chair backs on the home side.
Bastrop has a video board. Unusual for HS. Very nice stadium as well.

One of the nicest 3A stadiums in the state is Gordon Wood Stadium at Brownwood. It has artificial turf and a jumbotron.

Maybe it's because I'm from East Texas, but nothing got me more excited as a kid than pulling up to the Tomato Bowl on a Friday night.

Although San Angelo Central doesn't have much history, San Angelo Stadium is vintage Texas high school football. Now that I think about it, Bellard won state at Central before coming to Texas, so I'll take that. I really enjoyed games a Gordon Wood(Brownwood) and The Mustang Bowl(Sweetwater). As far as more modern stadiums go, I really liked Heroes Stadium in San Antonio.
