I live in Waco and the espn sports radio station has been talking about it most of the day! According to the moderators and the people that are calling in it is the University of Texas's fault for Baylor being investigated in the first place! It is hard to listen to all of this being turned against Texas. They talked about how Texas doesn't like to lose to Baylor and it was only a matter of time before Texas would call out the dogs on them. They always have to blame someone instead of admit that a violation did occur!

His mother was loaned money from his AAU coach that she repaid. If you read the article of them losing their house and moving from hotel to hotel you can see he wasn't paid by Baylor.
Also in the artlcle it mentions that two other Big 12 programs offered him money and one his parents a job in the city of the school. I wish he'd name names.

This was a 29 month investigation, and this stuff is really minor and would likely be found at any school with an athletic department if given over two years to find something.

Wow! You buy all of this b.s. without question. Do you really think that $ came from the AAU coach?
If it did, does that mean that Marcus Smart will be in trouble since his rent is cheaper since Forte's dad owns the house they rent?
Now that he's in college his parents are no longer struggling after all these years of not having $ and you think that means Baylor isn't paying?
While his parents were struggling big time, you honestly think they turned down $ and jobs from other Big 12 schools to attend Baylor because........? Tradition? Haha. Location? Haha. The education? Nope, he's leaving early so education isn't a factor. Baptist affiliation? Right.
You need to take the highlighter yellow tinted glasses off and see that you have a DIRTY men's basketball program. No one says this because the men are winning. They say this b/c it's true.
As a fellow Baptist it bugs me to no end that Drew says one thing and then acts as unethically as he does. And you and your school should demand more from your coaches, not blindly follow them and act like others are jealous. Your schools flash in the pan doesn't bother me in the least. I want other Big 12 teams to be good.

Baylor cheating? At basketball? Say it ain't so...
