I just don't understand why Terrell couldn't get it together. It's not like he's playing behind the next Jason Witten, he's at one of two positions on the team where there is absolutely nobody who has proven to be any good. He should have been able to beat out the weak competition for TE snaps if he has any ability

You're exactly right, but Naashon was always going to be counted in the scholly #'s for 2013.

Any thoughts about the players (transferring) and their academic standing? As everybody knows the transfer doesn't hurt your APR if the student is in good standing and on schedule to graduate. Last time the APR numbers were released the football team had the worst APR on campus and getting close to the level that means loss of scholarships and/or post season.

I bet it would require losing a LB for his to become a full scholarship. We need to replace the positions that we are losing.

941.........not terrible but the lowest on campus. The baseball and men's basketball teams have recorded 1000 for 3 years in a row.

Barnett doesn't surprise me. He's been snake bitten with injuries since he's been here.
Terrell was recruited by the previous staff. I think they were looking for a flex Tight End. Since Harsin showed up, we're looking for traditional Tight Ends. Terrell is just too small for the position.
I hope all the players that leave Texas find a place where they can thrive. I thank every one of them for giving us a shot.

Surprised by Terrell, after this season D.J.Grant and Barrett "Stone Hands" Matthews will be gone leaving just a converted DT, Greg Daniels and a converted WR, M.J. McFarland.
I'd never thought I would say this a few year ago, but Texas is going to be this at TE.
