Interesting. Curious to see where the leaves the rest of the ACC, namely FSU and Clemson.

Or the ACC could take Louisville and lock out the Big 12. The conference to watch is the SEC to see if they pluck a school or two. I think the B1G is doing this in the hopes that the ACC gets raided and Notre dame is without a home.

I still think there are a quite a few reasons to prefer several other ACC schools over Clemson, which is a relatively small school with a relatively small endowment in small town in a puny state. I'll grant that it has a big stadium, plays to near capacity, and has a pretty good football team right now, but everything else suggests that it isn't a prime commodity.

The exit fee is $50 million per team. That could be a problem.

Maybe it's just me... but I think Notre Dame told Dodds he could shove that invite where the sun don't shine by aligning up with the ACC!

i don't get this one. why would maryland want to leave the ACC? they are a basketball team first and for most.

One Maryland site is saying that while Rutgers it getting the most public run as a partner to go with the Terps, Georgia Tech is pushing to be that second team.

if this does happen the B12 needs to make another serious push for FSU. i can't believe FSU would want to stay in a conference which is actually less stable then the B12 especially as the conference is not a football conference to begin with.
