This is a MUCH BETTER forward moving plan than those utterly worthless one and done guys. The only thing those guys have delivered is worthless hype. I'm more than willing to sacrifice this one year to have our current players gel and mature as a TEAM. The output next year and after are going to offer infinitely higher returns than a bunch of one and dones.

The point is to win ball games while these players are on campus, not to put players in the NBA. For me, give me more, a lot more of these 3-4 year guys mixed in with an occasional one year guy.

I disagree the class is overrated. It's not a class of one and done guys, it's a class that will be measured over a 3-4 year period.

In our instant gratification society, I get why it's said, I just don't think it's correct.

Then howcome that Texas team didn't get beat by the likes of Chaminade?

Answer? Barnes isn't nearly as hungry as he was when he started out at Texas.

Young Barnes > Old Barnes

And the only one that can kill Barnes, is Barnes.

Just think it's time for some new blood at the head coaching position. Maybe we can get a coach that understand that you don't have to have a crappy offense to also have a great defense.
