....................lost in the situation with Bryant and Major is there are spouses and kids. That is a point to remember.............in addition some of the "hearsay" posts ripping coaches character needs to stop. (Especially by the alphabet boys) I am surprised the mods haven't deleted some of the stuff I've seen on this thread.

Me, too, except I have a really hard time drawing the parallels.
Let's see, that was said by Zara, the Moorish Queen taken captive by King Manuel, who has the hots for her, but she has the hots for another prisoner, who is hiding his identity and happens to be the son of a rival of Manuel and who had secretly married Manuel's daughter, so he rejects Zara, who gets pissed and uses her feminine wiles to get Manuel to order Alphonso's execution, but everything gets screwed up, Manuel orders his own execution, Zara commits suicide, and Alphonso and Almeria live happily ever after, sort of.
So that means Kearney is Zara, who was taken prisoner by Dodds, and Dodds is hot for her, so she will use Dodds to exact revenge on . . . No, that doesn't work.
Maybe Manuel is really Powers, and Kearney feels jilted by Dodds, so she's working on getting Powers to execute Dodds, but that would mean this is leading up to Kearney's professional suicide, Powers being removed from office, and Dodds and Plonsky (?) living happily ever after?
Well, it was entitled "The Mourning Bride: A Tragedy." Us still being stuck with Dodds and Plonsky would probably count.

"[The discrimination claim] will be investigated for 180 days before [we] have the right to sue," Howard (Kearney's attorney) said.
So the multi-millionaire lawyers representing Texas have 6 more months to find more info on Kearney before she can sue?
Advantage Texas...

"This is the legal prerequisite to filing a discrimination lawsuit," lawyer Derek Howard said in a text message, "and it will specifically reference the [Major] Applewhite comparative scenario."
They'd better have more than that as ammo.
