Anyone know what the bad news is for the UT Athletic dept.?

My main concern right now as bad as it might sound is, is the football program involved in any rumors in any way?

I agree (if true of course). I don't see how Dodds or Powers for that matter could survive something on the scale as this. The regents will want heads to roll if this rumor is in fact true and my guess is it probably wouldn't end with just those two either, but getting way ahead of myself until we get some actual facts.

Cause I gotta tell ya, a MIRV strike on Belmont isn't exactly giving me a lot of angst at the moment.
As a matter of fact, a certain old coot being disallowed to hang on for another year and collect a $1 million annuity actually sits pretty well with me.

I have my UT degree from over 20 years ago. I have bled orange all my life. Texas is personal to me.
That said, I literally HATE what this program has become in the last couple of years. Mack dealt DeLoss a good hand, and DeLoss got cocky and overplayed it.
BURN THIS MOTHER TO THE GROUND!
I'm done. I'm tired. We suck. This conference sucks. LHN SUCKS. DeLoss is an embarrassment. I want him gone.
I want to fix this thing. I want to quit blaming others. I want to right all wrongs. I want to mend fences. Texas has the ability to do this. But this program needs a new face.
