Andrew Billings announcement thread -- It's Baylor

I talked with David Smoak this morning with Andrew Billings announcement now less than three hours away. Smoaky said he had no idea where Billings was headed based on what he's been hearing.
Also, he wanted to me to relay this message. Yes, ESPN Central Texas is the Baylor flagship station. However, Smoaky said that shouldn't be any indication that Billings is headed to Baylor.
Smoaky said the Billings family told him about 8-10 months ago that whenever Andrew got ready to make a decision they wanted him to do it on Smoaky's show, You Make the Call. Smoaky said it has everything to do with that fact and that Billings is from Waco High why he's announcing on the station and nothing to do with the station's affiliation with Baylor.
All of that said, below is the link. The announcement is scheduled for 3 p.m.

i dont think we end up wih this kid IMO. With how his recuritment has been lately, how his mother wants favors baylor and him just not sure of anything im gonna say baylor picks this kid up. if he picks texas ill be surprised and relived but any where else im not gonna be surprised.

I'm guessing it's TCU--the only team of the three with a consistent, respectable defense. Baylor has played crappy defense for years and Texas still has Diaz as its DC, so which would you pick if you really wanted to play in a great (and proven) defensive scheme?

This. I'm a Texas fan all the way. Hate to say it but if I had a son who was a top 247 DT...and he wanted to stay in state...I'd tell him to play for Coach Patterson.

Embry Riddle. They promised him he could do flyovers. Of course, since they don't have a football team it'd have to be over someone else's game.
