I have no problem with LHN per se, but do have a problem with the fact that Texas gets absolutely no coverage of any kind outside of the basketball games that are contractually guaranteed on Fox and ESPN.
Flipping thru the tv guide on my set this morning and see a re-run of "Texas A&M Signing Day ReCap." aggys and Sooners are everywhere on my television but no Longhorns.

Lol, it been on here about as long as anywhere. Other than the live football games, there hasn't been much worth watching unless you are into nostalgia or bad play by our other teams. The practices were really boring stuff because you only got the first part that consisted if basic drills. For other reasons, I'm probably going to drop Uverse and find a bar for the games unless LHN happens to show up on Direct.

I agree and you are spot on about the coverage. I live between Austin and College Station and can not get the LHN on Direct TV. Last season all but 1 game the ags played in was on TV but several games that my Horns played were blacked out or on the LHN. This sucks for fans and you can bet that the high school kids see this and want to play somewhere that is on TV every weekend. The LHN better get put on ESPNU or on the cable\Direct plans or it will hurt us in the long run.

I have it because it is part of my package from consolidated. Frankly I seldom watch it because there are so few programs that pertain to the sports I am interested in. Ladies softball is on now and I can only watch 10 year old football games so many times. I hold that the ultimate reason Plonsky pushed for it was to show case women's sports rather than to help our football program. Is it not odd that really no major program is doing well?

Unless I had a daughter playing I would never watch women's sports. They just don't interest me At ALL. I tried watching the NC Volleyball game and just couldn't sit through it, and that was for a national title.
Our baseball team is pretty damn boring as the level of play in college baseball is far far far far worse than the level of play in the other major college sports. The Big 12 baseball players still look like little priviledged white kids running around, it's not much of a step up from watching HS baseball.
I'd gladly let one of you women's sports or baseball junkies pay me for this channel. Other than football game day and Wednesdays for all access it's pretty useless to me.

An observation about LHN
