I don't understand the legality of making guardians sign off on LOIs until a player is 21. You have full legal rights at 18.

Sound like you would love dramatic statements. We are in disaster because of 1 players? What if A&M does not get him who they have in campus? We will have plenty of player can be rearranged around. Okafor will move back to DE. Daniel might get a look at strong side DE, Reed will get a look and on weak side we will have Johnson. Starter would be Wilson and Jeffcoat.

I don't believe there is a lot to read into this. It seems to be one kid that says he is going to sign with A&M and the others will go where they go. It sounds good anyway. I'm just viviting, not a regular.

Last minute visits to Baylor and Arky were pretty suspicious, pretty obviously compromise choices.

In my opinion that is an extreme overreaction. The reality is that the roster needs some clean up. However there is a lot of talent. You do not have 2 highly ranked classes in a row and make an assumption that we are in the dumps. Alexander like Westerman before him are both 1 player. I believe we will settle this in the next year or 2 however I do believe that we have all the talent in the world on the roster to make a championship run for sure in 2012 and maybe surprise some folks in 2011 as well. If the young DL can develop Acho will move to end. Whaley well let's wait and see. I'll take a productive quarterback and bet we post 9 plus wins next year.

There is first line talent at DE, especially if Okafor moves back outside.
That would give them Okafor and Jeffcoat as starters. That might be the best DE combo in the Big 12.
After that, you'd have R Wilson and D Johnson off the bench.
The issue is not talent, it's depth (or the lack thereof) at the position.

Not gonna hold my breath on the brenham kids. Aggy got a good jump on them, made a big impression this past weekend, and got good momentum with Alexander.
I won't discount Mack and our stuff and what they can do, but my expectations with the Brenham prospects are pretty tempered.

when was the last time we lost a true head to head to the agroids on a big-time recruit at a need position? martellus bennett? do rod davis and tony jerod-eddie count? iirc, we bailed out on those kids before the end of the process.

Alexander just got T'ed up for after the whistle fighting for a jump ball.
Malcolm Brown is one hell of a 280-pound athlete out here. Great feet and quickness. Legit 6-2, closer to 6-3 now.
