If FSU beats UF and wins the ACC they would have just as good a resume as Alabama. ND is probably undefeated so they are the other team.
If UCLA beats Stanford and Oregon wins out, they would also have a better resume than Alabama.

K state is better...the sec "elite" did not play each other resulting in very inflated records

Bama played LSU, A&M, and will most likely play UGA
UF played SC, UGA, LSU, and A&M
UGA played SC, UF, and will most likely play Bama
LSU played SC, UF, A&M, and Bama.
All of the top heavy teams got their fair share of each other.

K-State gave up 52 points last night to a 5-5 team, and struggled offensively against the statistically worst defense in the FBS. I mean, Kansas State gave up 343 rushing yards to a team that is a spread passing team.
Not sure there is argument for them.

The key word here is MOST. I could easily see Baylor scoring 52 points on Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, A&M, Miss St, and Vanderbilt.
I doubt they could do it against Alabama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina, but he didn't say all.
And before you get pissed off at A&M being included, look at your La Tech game. Baylor's offense is much more dynamic.
The problem with Baylor is that they could just as easily give up 60 to anyone.

Shame that there isn't a playoff. Teams that deserve a chance to compete on the field in a four team playoff:
ND (if they win out)
KSU (if they win out)
SEC champ
Oregon if they win out
Close call between KSU and FSU if both win out -- both with bad losses. But KSU conference schedule much tougher than ACC, despite FSU non-conference win v FU in this scenario.
Didn't consider two loss teams. They shouldn't be in unless there are too few legit one loss teams.

Wrong....ga played none of top half from west, bama none from east. Florida and lsu are the only ones to play th e other division. Sc same thing

I am curious which sec teams would put it to them and what is your rationale? I agree bama and maybe georgia but all others would have hands tied with terrence williams. K state most resembles sec offense and was only one baylor had slowed all year

Green Baylor couldn't put points on TAMU last year with that DB RGIII at the helm w Kendall Wright & Ganaway. SEC not frightened of the Beartarps this year or any other. Purple Baylor either.

Not really. There could be other teams with better resumes than Alabama.
There is just no justification that Alabama should automatic be #2 because their conference schedule was the fucking weakest ever.

I haven't been able to find a truly great team all year. Alabama is just as deserving as the rest IMO. Lots of average football teams this year.
