I suppose that Aggie logic is more than an oxymoron; but I can't get what some recruits must think. I notice that they have some commits that Texas has offered and two that we probably would like to have: Griffin and todays commit Wilson. How can guys want to go and get their ass handed to them in the SEC. Texas represents a chance to go for a MNC within the next few years...I believe. A&M will get hammered by Alabama, LSU, Auburn and some other schools in that leauge...there is no question. So what makes a kid want to go play, yes in the SEC if all that will happen is loss after loss?
What are they selling over in B-CS that makes a high valued recruit think they can win there, or is winning not important to some?
Just ask'in. Hook'em -

Aggie here, We will manage better than most think, but if you are questioning what recruits see, what gives on Oliver going to an offense stocked with RB's, with a rough QB situation, versus a offense that has had success in passing lately and also a new offense being implemented that will optimize a receivers look...? I think it goes both ways recruits just have their own way of picking schools

I just enjoy the discourse. There are some smart people here and I enjoy the adverse dialogue when it's reasonable. It's just more fun for me than sitting in a thread full of friends where we all tell each other how right "we" are and how wrong "they" are. There's still a decent amount to discuss on A&M boards that allows for opposing sides, but I find the difference between Ags and horns too remarkable to not participate in.
I realize that I'm posting over here more than usual lately. I'll try to be more cognizant of the probable fact that most don't share my view about the "fun" referenced above.
