McNeese State and S. Car. St. are both FBS schools, so a&m can only count one of them, assuming they win both, toward their 6 wins needed for a bowl, correct?

It is one of a number of agriculture and mechanical schools in the state of Texas. Odd group really, recently known for a couple of women's sports championships, but with male cheerleaders (unfortunately, not the most disturbing role reversal going on down there). Somewhat of an embarrassment to the conference when on TV, but in the process of packing up to go where their customs and "brand" are more accepted--rural appalachia. Some of the most esteemed students still dress in overalls and spend their time debating old versus new army when they are not a military academy at all. Nothing to see really.

As an FYI Aggies have dropped Mcneese State and added LA Tech to the schedule for Thursday 8/30.

They still have one more OOC to schedule and I am sure it will be a patsy.

That LA Tech game might be tricky in Shreveport. Bulldogs bring back a ton of starters I'd thought. Solid viewing on the opening Thursday regardless.

Anybody that posts good stuff about the insufferable Aglets should get pluses, because you know the dozen or more Ags that monitor us here for little nuggets to take back to Texags will be downvoting anything that is disparaging to their miserable fanbase. God this is hilarious. Scheduling 2 FCS schools is so Frannie, lame and desparate. It's better to get to 6 wins, even of one of them doesn't count than to go the likely 5-7 without those two FBS games. Plus, when they add in the win from the Maroon & White game that gets them to 7-6 with no bowl game, but a winning season.
By the way, Vanderbilt just might be better than Aggy. The bottom feeders are MSU, Ole Miss, Mizzou, and Aggy. Their top end is going to be 9-3 plus a bowl, but that's not happening in 2012.
