I like it. It lets you see where you are without it costing you. Normally we don't really know who we are until conference play so thos gives you a better look at what you've got and what you really need to work on. And it's fun to watch. All wins.

Won't happen. Even if they don't keep score we know how fans are. They'll keep count and there'll become pressure to perform well if not win the scrimmage. It might influence voters in the polls when they come out as well so there will be the pressure to do well as opposed to using the spring game to see a lot of guys and use it for the purpose it is, practice.

yeah but the PA which is supposed to represent the entire league, was opposed to the idea of 18 game schedule with two bye weeks. They just negotiated more time off in the offseason and less coaching contact and offseason workouts only a year ago. I highly doubt they'll go for a second season during the time when they're supposed to be rehabbing and healing injuries.
