I have a question for the mods.

Do you think the general rise in decommitments (at all schools) is due to recruiting moving earlier and earlier and the high school students using their offers as insurance against injuries? I know UT has the reputation of living up to their commitment to the athletes.

Not saying that is what happened in the Smythe case, but it certainly was interesting in the Hicks case with his history of injuries.

This actually is not that bad.
If you want more pressure to be put on Mack, a consistent decline in recruiting is what you need.
When the big cigars see the decommits in 2013 and the negative trajectory of 2014, some eyebrows have to be raised.
