This was a better win than Kansas IMO. Just better because at least Tech has a decent offense to contend with. And the Horns still won by 30+.
Tech is going to struggle to get to 6 wins and bowl eligibility. Even at 6 wins, they might not qualify as the bowls have been mandated to take 7-5 teams over 6-6 teams.
Last year, Kansas State had one of the worst (if not the worst) run defenses in the country, and Texas had to throw the ball a billion times. I love the fact that Texas is running the ball down the throats of teams that that they should. Last year (and even in years past), that wasn't the case. Kudos to Searels changing the attitude of the offensive line and Harsin for his play calling. I love me some Fozzy direct snaps.
Agreed. More athletes. And growth, and w/o their starting TB and leading Rusher and leading WR.
If the defense continues to improve, they have chance at finishing the remaining games strong. Also improvement in the Kick Coverage.

"Don't know. Never had one"
-- D. Royal-Mack Brown how to coach a team after a losing season
Is it possible Hills and not Gray takes over for Fozzy next year. Guy has always looked above average when given time. Also Darius White needs more targets. The catch and move made between two defenders was a thing of beauty.
Hills has been considered a potential attrition candidate because he could graduate early.
But, he's played well in limited opportunities.
BTW, I think it's clear now that Bergeron wasn't just getting yards last week because the Kansas D was tired. Guy is a baller.
Longhorns DO or they DO NOT...There is no TRY!
