Julien Lewis and the Texas guards will need be wary of Texas Tech's ability to hit the 3pt shot.

The Longhorns need a win today at 3 p.m. in Lubbock against a Red Raiders squad that has picked up just one win in 15 conference games to keep hope alive for a tourney berth.

Vegas has Texas by 10.5. Kenpom is liking Texas by 13. Texas Tech is 1-8 against the spread at home while Texas is 4-6 on the road.
If we're going to back our way into the tournament, this team is going to have to be focused on every single game. With that said, I'd expect a big win today as well.

Problem is we wont have an RPI in the top 25. I'm guessing he was referring to the BPI or whatever ESPN is calling their new ranking system, but our RPI will scream bubble team the whole way. We're sitting at #55 right now and wins against Texas Tech and OU is not going to change it much. I'd guess we finish in the high 40s.

I think he means RPI Top 25 victory.
Temple is ranked around 12 in the RPI so that win looks really good.

This game is about to start, but I have a really hard time getting up for it. The last 2 games have sucked the life out of me.

Not a great start. A few bad offensive possessions and allowing Tolbert to get an off. rebound/put-back.

Bad start worsening, but Tech has been horrible in the second half in recent games.
You know, it looks like we've lost austinr. Haven't seen a post from him for a week. It that's the case, I'm sorry to see him go.

I think I'll be ok if Tech is needing Lewandowski to take jumpers just inside the arc. I'll be pissed if he makes them all day, but I'm ok with him shooting them.

Our play was to go to Chapman 35 feet from the basket with 3.7 seconds left?! I know we're up double digits but it's the little things that really piss me off.
