Carrington Byndom had another big day, snagging an interception in the first quarter.

Another complete win means there was a lot of players to choose from when looking for the top Longhorn performers against Iowa State.

Other than kickoffs the kicking game is completely undependable, we've missed on a lot of scholarship punters in the past but this years kicking game is surprising. I'm sure the coaches don't know what's up with FERA but so far a wasted scholarship. I know he doesn't count toward the scholarship count this year but i think he does next year. Hopefully he'll turn it around.

Des Jackson can be really good DT for Texas (and I wouldn't have said this even 3 weeks ago), but only if Diaz gives him a 1-gap responsibility and asks him to control that gap. Any slants or stunts are foolish, and asking Des to overcome too much physics to be successful. Des is a strong, low center of gravity guy whose strength is a function of planting both legs firmly and using leverage. That means gap control and single gap assignments. It's just physics with Des, but Manny doesn't get that yet. Brandon Moore is somewhat similar but with a different body type completely.

Maybe I'm just a wet blanket, but I don't see anything beneficial to the team by being negative about any particular player on an internet board.
Only one negative! I know this posting pissed a bunch of you off!
