The way Brooks' offer went down seems strange to me. I understand that Mack is allowing the current staff to do things differently (and I'm not complaining) but this seems particularly odd. And even Brooks' comments read like he thought it was weird too. Does anyone know of a prior instance where we offered a kid by relaying the message through a family friend?
Mods are you 100 percent that we can take the offer at face value?
Do any of the kids at camp get to meet with the coaches outside of the larger group?

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what would happen. So much natural lower body strength and quickness. Great feet for his size.

40-60 deal for me right now. I think having Wyatt on staff and the fact that Brooks is willing to think it over makes me feel like Texas has a legit shot.
Edit: I will say this, if Wyatt can get him to flip he will have done one heck of a job on that recruitment. Brooks is pretty loyal to OU, but when you're dream school offers it can be tough to say no.

I saw him against Steele live and then against later in the year against Roosevelt. Dominated the football game in the second half.
