Oscar Giles has been in contact with Ward and has expressed Texas' interest in the nationally ranked strong-side defensive end.
Texas is being very selective with its scholarship offers for defensive players in 2013. UT is expecting to host an DE/OLB from Oklahoma next week and an offer might follow.
