Duane Akina's DBs need to be aware of Ohio State transfer Lamaar "Flash" Thomas as a potential home run threat for the Lobos.

For the second week in a row there won't be many players the Longhorns should fear on the opposite sideline, but Hookem.com finds a few that could give Texas trouble.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to go ahead and put whoever is playing Nose Tackle for the Lobos on this list....

Ha...They actually have a decent one. I'm writing up the look at New Mexico's defense right now. Former four-star recruit who transferred from Illinois before the 2009 season, Reggie Ellis.

this is a triple option offense... so why no mention of the runningbacks that may receive the pitch?

They're good, but nothing too special. Just standard 5-11, 180-pound backs. If one of them brought something of note to the table I'd have thrown them on there.
The guys I mentioned are more dynamic IMO.
