Much ado about nothing?

"disobeying lawful order" is so vague. it allows cops lee-way to arrest someone for very minor issues. In college my friends and I were arrested on 6th street for standing on the curb and watching two random guys fight..errr, roll around on top of each other, in the street. The cop alleged that he told us and other spectators to move and leave the scene as they put the two guys in cuffs. I didn't hear anything or any kind of warning from the cop, but after he put the two guys in cuffs he came over to us and cuffed us. We were charged with "disobeying lawful order" and it was eventually dismissed. Basically, we were guilty of being nosy. Maybe we should have left without a warning, but we didn't interfere and we weren't drunk, lewd, or rowdy.

10 years later, I can think of many college nights where I did really stupid things, but that night definitely wasn't one of them. Obviously, i dont know the circumstances at play for these guys, but I wouldn't rush to judgment just yet.
