"The Longhorns' video that will appear on Godzillatron when the players hit the field Saturday night will be a new video. Mack said the theme of the video is, “It's a new day,” and it will most certainly be that for Longhorn fans.

Maybe other than seeing the team for the first time since the spring game, the 100,000-plus at DKR will be most excited to not see the old entrance video that was an eyesore for a lot of folks in recently years.

“It'll capture our history and our tradition, but it'll be modernized,” said Mack, who added that the players put their stamp of approval on the video Sunday night when they viewed it for the first time.

My favorite part of that report. No more junior high level animation.
