Kendal Yancy-Harris is the third commitment of Texas' 2013 class.
Rick Barnes and the Texas basketball program picked up their second 2013 commit in less than two weeks today when Kendal Yancy-Harris announced he will attend college in Austin via his Twitter account.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Richardson Berkner product was released from his Letter of Intent from USC on Feb. 21, and has been a huge target for the Longhorns since he opened his recruitment.
Yancy-Harris visited Texas earlier this week. All reports heading into the visit had the floor general as a heavy Longhorn lean and a near lock to commit if the visit went well.
The combo guard was considering Baylor and Missouri as well as the Longhorns after he opened things back up, but the visit to Austin was enough to sell the four-star recruit and lock up the third commitment in Texas' 2013 class. He joins shooting guard Demarcus Croaker and point guard Isaiah Taylor.
Yancy-Harris is ranked No. 82 by 247Sports and No. 111 in the 247Composite. 247Sports ranks him as the 18th best point guard in the country in the 2013 class.
