Until Anthony Fera returns from inury, look for the young guys to compete for the kicking responsibilities.

There are a number of questions on Texas' special teams this year. While a few transfers have helped, there is still a lot to sort out before Wyoming comes to Austin.

Love me some Diggs, but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that he'll be our punt returner.

The only reason we saw Diggs (and don't get me wrong, he stepped up and did awesome) was because of Jaxon's injury against Kansas. Up to that point he hadn't really gotten many chances to return one for six. But I think it just would have been a matter of time.
If the reports from sources are true and Jaxon truly is on another level physically with his speed and quickness, what better place to showcase that? Who is more surehanded to trust back there? I don't think there is anyone.
Calling it now. Before camp is over Jaxon will take back his punt return job.
